Fall colors in the Gunnison National Forest aren’t too shabby. Start your hike at the Horse Ranch Park. Stay to the left and head up on the Dark Canyon Trail towards the Raggeds Wilderness. Walk a couple of miles. You’ll find it. Now just breathe.

For All Seasons

There's something special here. Just outside of town, you immediately find yourself blindsided by the beauty of the surrounding Gunnison National Forest. It doesn't matter which road you take: Gothic, Kebler, Washington Gulch. It doesn't matter which season you choose: The bright greens of spring. The wildflowers of summer. The vibrant fall colors. The quiet beauty of winter.

There are hikes and there are explorations. Then there are both. Follow the light. Radiate.

Did you know that beavers’ teeth never stop growing? They need to keep on chewing and chewing to wear them down. Hey, I ain’t complaining. Beavers do a wonderful job with their landscaping. Here’s one of their fall editions.
