Unquestionably Great

When we were picking up a backcountry camping permit from the Ranger at the Visitor Center, he mentioned some things. I didn’t believe them all. Number one: When you get into the dunes, it all looks the same. Lies. Number two: The sand gets about twice as hot as the air temperature. Probably true.

No doubt. I carried some props with me. The Bone Collector out in the dune field at sunset.

Someone asked me if I threw a tennis ball and my dog went after it. Not quite. I don’t have a tennis ball. And I don’t have a dog. Just me and the coyotes.

Snowcapped mountains. A dune field. It’s gotta be fake, right? A glitch in the matrix.
