An Enjoyable Ride

Hop on Utah’s Subway, but don’t make it a one-way destination. If you’re lucky enough to obtain a permit, peek around each bend. Explore. Find beauty in the cracks. Squeeze yourself into the narrow canyon walls. This spot right here is often ignored. Slow down. Enjoy this true desert oasis.

The dark and dank corridor of the Left Fork allows just a touch of spring to creep into the canyon.

A wonderful time to reflect. The canyon walls of Zion National Park’s wild side glow from the rising sun.

The hike isn’t always easy. I’ve gotten turned around more than once over the years. But if you get a permit, you go. It’s a golden ticket to paradise.
