What happens on tour?
Of course we’re going to take some pictures. Some beautiful ones, no doubt. But more importantly we’re going to enjoy it. We’re not going to run around with our heads cut off. Unless we want to of course. Let’s call it some sort of nature therapy where we use photography as our excuse to stay outside. This won’t be your run-of-the-mill caravan hitting all the highlights. We’re out here to play. We’ll take our breath away. I will invite you to take off your shoes and stay awhile. Jump in some cold water if we’re lucky. There will be some tired legs and hearty laughs. We will be free of any schedule or commitment. Our golden hours will be defined by feeling rather than time. We choose our moments and devote ourselves to them fully until satisfied.
With that being said, these dates have been selected with intention. Thoughtful planning has been made to align with wildflower season, fall colors, a full moon, or something else entirely. Of course, mother nature doesn’t always want to follow the best-laid plans. With flexibility built in, we go with the flow. Plus you’re going with someone who has been to these locations multiple times over multiple seasons and multiple years. Someone who likes to explore and who would rather spend more time outside than in front of a screen or the inside of a vehicle. Oh, and that photography thing? It’s simple. It’s mostly about angles, light, and learning how to use your tools. I’ll help you figure it out.
